Campbell Grinder Company in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive the design of high-precision CNC grinding machines from concept through testing and assembly.

You will develop mechanical components such as spindles, linear guides, and frames, perform simulations, and oversee prototyping and testing. Collaborate with Electrical and Applications teams and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical experience in mechanical machinery or capital equipment design.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with CNC grinding machinery or high-precision equipment is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components for CNC grinding machines including spindles and frames.
• Lead prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Applications teams to integrate controls.
