Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Hatboro, PA is seeking a skilled Machinist/Grinding Technician to join our precision manufacturing team. This role focuses on high-quality craftsmanship and mastering a range of grinding processes.

You will operate several grinders including Kellenberger Kel-Vista and Jones & Shipman CNC grinders, set up production runs, and work with QA to minimize scrap while maintaining quality and efficiency. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machinist with grinding background.
• Knowledge of grinding between centers, chucking OD/ID.
• Ability to read blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment and setup production runs.
• Perform between-centers, chucking OD/ID grinding.
• Collaborate with QA on critical inspections and scrap reduction.
• Follow supervisor job lists and track job times.

We are looking for a skilled **Machinist/Grinding Technician ** to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a machinist who thrives on technical challenges, and high-quality craftsmanship.

You will become an expert in a range of grinding processes including:

• Grinding between centers
• Chucking OD grinding
• Chucking ID grinding

Operate Grinding Equipment

You will operate a variety of grinding machines including:

• Kellenberger Kel-Vista (3 machines)
• CNC conversational programming
• Multi-tool setups
• Kellenberger Kel-Vita
• Same as above withnon-round grinding capability
• Jones & Shipman CNC Grinder
• Conversational programming
• Between-centers grinding
• Track job time accurately through job clock-in/clock-out
• Follow scheduled job lists created by the supervisor
• Work closely withQuality Assurance technicianson critical inspections
• Handle customer components with extreme care to minimize scrap
• Maintain a strong focus onquality and efficiency

You should be proficient in:
