Job summary

Ghostwerks LLC seeks a mid-to-senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver direct engineering support for DoD armament programs at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The role requires independent analysis, IPT participation, and effective communication with government stakeholders.

Applicants should have a bachelor's in mechanical or systems engineering, 2–7 years of relevant DoD experience, and strong systems engineering knowledge. On-site work with security-clearance readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 2-7 years of progressively responsible mechanical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or Army armament, ammunition, or maneuver support programs.
• Experience providing senior-level engineering analysis, technical reviews, and customer-facing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical engineering solutions across research, development, modernization, and production phases.
• Support IPTs and participate in design reviews with government customers and stakeholders.
• Develop procurement packages and evaluate contractor proposals.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals and support source selection activities.
• Draft clear technical documentation reflecting program status, risks, and engineering concerns.
