Canvas in Warner Robins, Georgia is seeking a qualified engineer with expertise in aircraft hydraulic and mechanical systems design. Candidates must have either a Master's or Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience, or a Bachelor's with a longer tenure in the field.

The role requires technical guidance for C-130 Special Mission Aircraft and encompasses planning studies for design improvements and developing repair standards. A combination of desk work and hands-on industrial environment work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in design, development, and integration of aircraft systems.
• Experience in airworthiness, loads, stress, and weight analysis.
• Technical expertise in solving engineering problems for C-130 aircraft.
• Ability to develop standards and guidelines for engineering tasks.

Responsabilités

• Provide guidance for complex engineering problems in aircraft maintenance.
• Plan and conduct engineering feasibility studies for design improvements.
• Develop structural and corrosion repairs for aircraft systems.

Formation

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Mech Engineering (ABET highly desired)

Bachelor’s degree in Mech Engineering (ABET highly desired)
