Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (T3) to lead design, analysis, integration, and testing of complex mechanical systems for defense and aerospace applications.

You will drive hardware from concept through prototype, qualification, and production, collaborating with IPTs to ensure high-reliability hardware meeting stringent DoD standards and milestones.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSME or aerospace degree.
• 5–8+ years in aerospace/defense/government contracting.
• Active Secret clearance, or eligible for Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, analysis, and testing of complex assemblies for defense/aerospace programs.
• Coordinate with IPTs (systems, electrical, thermal, structural, manufacturing) to meet DoD standards.
• Conduct FEA/CFD analyses to validate designs against MIL-STD-810/167 environments.
• Oversee design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and transition to production.
