Job summary

Riverside Mfg LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead design, prototyping and testing of mechanical devices and systems under the Director of Engineering. You will help set timelines and budgets and coordinate with other departments during product development and launch.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, 3D printers, and automation. US-person eligibility is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the specified role.
  • Experience with design project management preferred.
  • Experience with 3D solid modeling software, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • Experience with 3D printers for design validation and production assembly and test assets preferred.
  • Experience with production fixtures and automation a plus.
  • Must be US person as defined under applicable export control regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical devices, components, or entire systems
  • Assist in setting project timelines, estimating budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet technical specifications
  • Collaborate with other departments during the product specification, design and production launch activities
  • Initiate and process Engineering Change Requests
  • Act as the technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and external suppliers
