Job summary

Necessary Ventures is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the design and integration of electromechanical systems across the full vehicle lifecycle. You will work from early concept and requirements through prototyping, validation, sea trials, and production, driving robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of experience with mechanical or electromechanical systems, plus strong knowledge of electrical systems, CAD

• 4+ years of experience with mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, CAD software, and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and integration of electromechanical systems across the full vehicle lifecycle, from concept through prototyping, validation, sea trials, and production.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure robust design and manufacturability.
• Lead prototyping and validation activities, and support transition to production.
