You will perform advanced stress analyses, fatigue and creep assessments, and fitness-for-service studies in collaboration with project teams. The role requires 10+ years of experience with fired heaters, reformers, boilers, and pressure vessels, plus strong knowledge of API/ASME standards.
Lead mechanical design and analysis of pressure-retaining equipment, perform pressure and stress calculations, fatigue and creep assessments, and fitness-for-service studies. Review engineering deliverables for code compliance, support procurement through commissioning, investigate failures, contribute to equipment integrity programs, and mentor junior engineers.
Requires a qualified Mechanical Engineer with at least ten years of experience designing, engineering, or assessing fired heaters, reformers, WHRUs, HRSGs, boilers, steam drums, and pressure vessels. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of API and ASME standards, fabrication processes, and high-temperature stress analysis; experience with additional codes, metallurgy, simulation tools, and plant modifications is desirable.
