Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize facility piping systems and size mechanical components. You will prepare and update drawings and specifications, and perform pressure-drop, flow, thermal, and stress-related checks.

You will support safety reviews, procurement, factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in piping or fluid systems.
• Experience with equipment sizing, applicable codes and safety practices, and exposure to drafting or analysis tools.
