Job summary

Entegee is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Germantown, MD to lead advanced hardware development for Aerospace-oriented systems. You will apply mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis expertise across conception through production.

The role emphasizes hands-on CAD (Creo, SolidWorks), FEA/CFD, GD&T, and manufacturing integration, with responsibility for design verification, qualification testing, and DFM-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing and/or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware development for AERO mobile solutions.
• Own design verification and qualification testing.
• Perform engineering analyses using hand calculations, FEA, CFD, and CAD tools.
• Develop detailed production drawings using GD&T.

Summary:

Seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical/electromechanical design and development for complex systems, preferably in aerospace environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo and Solidworks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FEA and CFD analysis methods
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Familiarity with FAA certification processes and regulatory standards
• Experience with hardware integration including electronic board assembly design
