Summary
This role involves independently performing various assignments using standard mechanical design engineering techniques for small projects or segments of larger projects. The candidate must exercise independent judgment in evaluating and applying design techniques, procedures, and criteria, making minor adaptations as needed. The position involves setting clear objectives and investigating a limited number of variables.
A 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and 6-9 years of related experience in mechanical systems within the Built Environment are typically required. Experience with computer software and automated design tools is essential. An FE certification is required, with progress toward PE registration expected within two years.
