Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Mechanical Technician/EIC at our Atlanta West facility. The role involves maintaining and repairing automated packaging equipment and related utilities used to manufacture disinfecting wipes.

You will follow safety rules and perform PMs, ensuring spare parts stock and efficient work orders. Successful candidates will troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision, and contribute to reliable

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience is required (5+ years).
• Substitution is allowed for a two-year technical college curriculum or vocational certificates.
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
• Thorough knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors.
• Proficiency with hand/power tools, welding, pipefitting, and reading schematics reading P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to prevent and resolve failures (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, controls).
• Troubleshoot motor and motor control problems; work with VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors.
• Clean work area and maintain workstation; document work orders and parts usage in SAP.
• Read and update manuals and drawings; understand shaft alignment and drive systems.
• Follow ladder logic for troubleshooting and ensure safety and reliability during equipment breakdowns.
