Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Assembler to deliver high-quality products through precise mechanical and electrical assembly. You will read simple layouts, assemble components, and test products to meet safety and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement on the production floor.

Ideal candidates bring experience in manufacturing, strong dexterity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or related environments.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision.
• Strong hand-eye coordination for detailed work.
• Basic ability to read and understand assembly drawings and layouts.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly with precision while maintaining quality and pace.
• Assemble and test components, subassemblies, and finished products per work instructions.
• Receive parts in programmed sequences and ensure accurate completion.
• Follow procedures including color coding, PVC welding, thread taping and standard processes.
• Read layout drawings and work instructions and document production data in ERP systems.
