Xylem is seeking a Senior Assembler to deliver high-quality products through precise mechanical and electrical assembly. You will read drawings, follow procedures, and test components to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or related industrial environments.
• Able to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly while maintaining pace and quality.
• Assemble and test components, subassemblies, and finished products per instructions.
• Receive components in production sequences and complete assembly accurately.
• Follow procedures including color coding, PVC welding, thread taping.
• Assemble standard products and minor variations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures and basic production equipment safely.
• Read simple layout drawings and work instructions.
• Enter labor hours and production data into SAP ERP.
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify quality.
• Support 5S and housekeeping.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity.
• Maintain equipment and work areas safely.
