Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Huntsville, AL seeks a CAD designer to create and modify detailed 3-D models and production drawings using SolidWorks 2023. You will work with design engineers to ensure model accuracy and conformance to standards under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks, GD&T and ASME Y14 standards.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance is required.
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally ±10%

Responsibilities

• Designs major segments of complex subsystems.
• Creates 3-D models and production drawings from CAD models using SolidWorks 2023.
• Applies knowledge of materials, finishes, welding, and other manufacturing processes to drawings.
• Works with design engineers to ensure model accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Provides technical leadership to lower-level drafters and supports CAD tool usage.
