A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in California. Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant experience along with strong 3D Solid Modeling skills in SolidWorks. Responsibilities include designing mechanical devices and systems and ensuring manufacturing processes are well understood. The ideal candidate will possess a BSME or a closely related degree. Strong verbal communication skills are essential for this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a relevant engineering field required.
• Possesses educational qualifications and work experience as established by engineering schools.

Connaissances

3D Solid Modeling experience in SolidWorks

Drafting experience in SolidWorks using current drawing standards

Understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing; GD&T experience

LabView and MATLAB experience

Detail design experience of various mechanical devices and systems

Understanding of manufacturing processes

Strong verbal communication skills

Formation

BSME or closely related degree

MSME desired

Must have the following skill sets: • 3D Solid Modeling experience in SolidWorks • Drafting experience in SolidWorks using current drawing standards • Understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing; GD&T experience is a plus • LabView and MATLAB experience are a plus • Detail design experience of various mechanical devices and systems • Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, sheet metal fabrication, molding, casting, etc.) and the ability to make appropriate design decisions based on the chosen process • Strong verbal communication skills are essential, and the candidate must be able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

BSME or closely related degree required. MSME desired.

Possesses educational qualifications and work experience as established by engineering schools, employers and licensing authorities for employment in the various disciplines of engineering, i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical etc. Experience level: 7+ years.
