This role supports Watring Technologies’ aerospace initiatives and requires proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T. Qualifications

• 1+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience with mechanical design in aerospace is preferred.
• Experience creating and interpreting engineering documentation including drawings and test procedures.
• Proficiency in GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Hands-on experience with designs and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and analysis in support of aerospace hardware and systems.
• Create, review, and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Support assembly and assessment of prototypes for new hardware.
• Participate in instrumentation design, integration, and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and meet quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design and manufacturing processes.
