Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineering Designer to join our Architecture and Engineering team. You will design and draft mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with site, electrical, structural engineers, architects, and project managers.

This remote/hybrid role supports multiple offices (Kent, Puyallup, Bellevue) with 1–2 days in office; US-based candidates in WA, OR, CA, AZ, NV, or ID welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production.
• Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office required.
• EIT preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFI's and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
