Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineering Designer to support its Architecture and Engineering business unit in designing and drafting mechanical engineering projects. The role includes HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, with opportunities to work hybrid or remote from various states including California.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and over 4 years of experience in mechanical design for commercial projects. Competitive wages and excellent benefits are part of the offering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production.
• Experience with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, and grocery.
• EIT preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and reports under senior staff direction.
• Conduct site feasibility research and investigations.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Manage task budgets and project approval processes.
