Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mechanical Designer with strong sheet metal and Autodesk Inventor experience to join a fast‑growing manufacturer.

You will develop 3D models and fabrication drawings for Low Voltage enclosures, manage Vault files, and collaborate with electrical engineers on busbar layouts, with a clear path to Senior Designer.

Qualifications

• Mechanical design experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Sheet metal and enclosure design experience.
• Around 5 years of design experience (no degree required).

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings of Low Voltage enclosures in Autodesk Inventor.
• Design sheet metal enclosures, structures, and assemblies for manufacture, including flat patterns and BOMs.
• Manage design files and revisions in Vault while collaborating with electrical engineers on busbar and cable layouts.
• Provide hands‑on factory floor support to resolve design, fit‑up and assembly issues.
