Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer for Greenwood Village, CO, to lead MEP design for commercial interiors and tenant improvements. You’ll mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, and ensure design quality across HVAC, piping, and fire protection systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects and PMs, adherence to IMEG standards, and ongoing professional development in high-performance, energy-efficient design.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required and PE license is required
• 2+ years of experience, 4+ preferred, in building design consulting with a commercial interiors focus
• Strong design, analytical, and communication skills; ability to mentor staff

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for commercial interiors and tenant improvements
• Develop designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards
• Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
• perform design reviews and monitor progress with PMs to manage time and budget
• Maintain high quality and safety standards across projects
