Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. The role focuses on providing design solutions for structural products using CAD, ensuring conformity to design standards.

You will develop layouts, sketches and drawings and validate designs against ANSI Y4.15. Under limited supervision, you will interact with engineering staff, investigate design factors, and prepare documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical/trade training required, plus 6+ years in CAD
• Understanding of engineering design concepts and drawing principles (ANSI Y4.15)
• Ability to apply concepts in evolving environments and communicate results

Responsibilities
