Job summary

Datrose is seeking a Mechanical Designer in Feasterville Trevose, PA, to design mechanical equipment and develop complete bill of materials. The role requires 7+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical.

Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping, welding and NDE is preferred. Responsibilities include detailing drawings with tolerances, coordinating with Sales & Design Engineering, and ensuring designs meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in designing mechanical equipment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Mechanical and 2D CAD; 3D is a plus.
• Experience interfacing with Sales Engineering, Design Engineering, production teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer requirements and applicable codes to design products.
• Interface with clients for drawing submittals and status updates.
• Work with production and vendors to resolve manufacturing issues and improve products.
• Design products from machined parts, fabrications and castings in various materials.
• Create Bill of Material details in Sage 100 ERP.
