Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical / Piping CAD Designer to support multiple projects with high-quality drafting and detailed construction drawings. The role emphasizes collaboration with a Lead Designer, interpretation of engineering concepts, and the development of compliant layouts using AutoCAD and Cadworx Plant 3D.

The candidate will produce complete drawing packages, ensure design accuracy, and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to meet project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years using AutoCAD for physical design projects.
• Experience in mechanical drafting and design in a Petro-Chemical environment preferred.
• Strong communication with project stakeholders and lead designer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Mechanical Designer on drafting and design.
• Prepare mechanical and piping designs for review and approval.
• Develop equipment and piping layouts from project scope and vendor data.
• Ensure drawings meet project standards and schedules.
