Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design efforts on infrastructure projects. You will guide design development, coordinate with team members, and deliver complete mechanical solutions from concept through construction close-out.

Responsibilities include developing scope of work, managing budgets, and mentoring team members. Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and fire life safety systems is required; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• Master's degree with relevant experience is favorable.
• PhD in Engineering with relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts from concept to final construction close-out.
• Coordinate design development and provide technical direction to project teams.
• Complete mechanical designs with minimal direction and ensure quality.
• Write technical reports and create presentations of findings.
• Communicate results effectively in meetings and presentations.
