Job summary
HNTB is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with HVAC, plumbing or fire life safety design expertise for commercial, institutional, and infrastructure facilities in California. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with teams, and deliver complete mechanical solutions with strong technical analysis and clear communication.
Minimum qualifications include a Mechanical PE and 8+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license (PE) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and BlueBeam.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design efforts on projects from concept to construction close-out.
- Coordinate design development and provide technical direction to project team members.
- Complete mechanical designs with minimal direction and produce technical reports.
