Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a growing State College, PA area manufacturer. This hands-on leadership role advances toward department manager in about two years, with compensation up to $140,000 plus bonus.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of electromechanical design experience, strong 3D CAD skills, and proven mentorship capabilities. You will lead design from concept to production, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive mechanical design experience with electromechanical products.
• Strong hands-on design leadership and 3D CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electromechanical products from requirements to production release.
• Lead electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and integrated systems design.
• Serve as technical owner for mechanical design decisions and meet performance/manufacturing needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive project execution, estimation, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Utilize DFM/DFM, DFA, DFT, DFR and ensure production readiness.
