Qualifications

• BSME in mechanical engineering; MS/MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in mechanical product design; 3-5 years in leadership.
• Proven ability to take products from concept to mass production.
• Experience with domestic and international contract manufacturers and tooling vendors.
• Strong leadership and team-building experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary product engineering teams through full product development lifecycle.
• Oversee mechanical architecture decisions, materials, thermal management, and precision mechanisms.
• Ensure designs align with requirements, cost targets, schedule, and quality benchmarks.
• Enforce design for manufacturability/assembly, serviceability, and reliability practices to streamline transitioning to manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (UL, RoHS, ISO) and safety requirements.
• Manage budgets, tooling, prototyping lab equipment, and vendor relationships.
