Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering in custom automation or industrial equipment.
• Strong SolidWorks proficiency and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to lead cross-functional design teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative custom automation equipment and tooling using SolidWorks.
• Lead design efforts from concept to manufacturing, assembly, testing, and startup.
• Collaborate with Controls Engineers, Machine Builders, PMs, and Manufacturing.
• Develop manufacturable designs balancing performance, reliability, cost, and ease of assembly.
• Review customer requirements and translate into practical automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot design challenges during assembly, integration, and commissioning.
• Work with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and support project execution.
• Mentor junior mechanical engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering standards and project efficiency.
