Job summary

D2B is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and SolidWorks Specialist to deliver manufacturable 3D models and complete equipment layouts for heavy industrial projects. You will transform site data and initial concepts into practical designs with thorough documentation and robust weldments.

Candidates should have a 5–10+ year track record in heavy industry, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or structural engineering, and strong English communication skills for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of professional mechanical design experience in heavy-industrial sectors.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Deep manufacturing & fabrication literacy for heavy equipment, weldments, and installations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication for international teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Development from concepts to manufacturable 3D models and layouts.
• Complex modeling and assembly management of large-scale structures and piping.
• Produce GA drawings, BOMs, cut lists, tolerances, and revision controls.
• Design for harsh environments with high loads, vibration, fatigue, and corrosion considerations.
• Create heavy-duty support frames, mountings, access platforms, skids, and structural modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine concepts and meet installation constraints.
