Job summary

Waterfront Brands in Snow Hill, NC is seeking a seasoned lead design engineer to drive design projects, create accurate 3D models, and lead engineering documentation and drawing reviews using GD&T standards.

In this role you will support product development and manufacturing processes, collaborate across teams and sites, and mentor junior engineers. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor, and experience with PDM systems, ERP software, and detailed engineering documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least seven years of experience leading design engineering projects.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Inventor, experienced with PDM, GD&T, documentation, drawing reviews, and welded parts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering projects from concept through release.
• Create 3D models, engineering documentation, and drawings with GD&T.
• Mentor junior engineers and review team work.
• Collaborate across teams and sites on product development and manufacturing.
