Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
• 7 years of mechanical design engineering experience in consumer products.
• Advanced knowledge of material science including plastics, metals and coatings.
• Experience reading schematics and designing manufacturable products.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new products from concept to production.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines, budgets, and quality targets.
• Perform prototype design experimentation and fabrication.
• Conduct feasibility evaluations, testing, and cost estimates.
• Troubleshoot mechanical design issues post-production and collaborate with teams.
• Create specifications, prints, and testing verification methods.
• Produce project documentation including ECOs and supplier communications.
• Support operations and suppliers through NPD stages and capacity forecasting.
