Job summary

Kärcher in Aurora, CO is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer III to design new products from concept to production release under the NPD process. You will work with Product Management PSD and ensure designs meet reliability and safety standards.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (Inventor preferred), GD&T, and understanding of metal/plastic manufacturing, heat transfer, and mechatronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design (Inventor preferred).
• Strong GD&T and stack-up tolerancing knowledge.
• Experience with metals and plastics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and parts for new products.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Produce engineering documentation and test results.
• Collaborate with testing, project management and design teams.
• Lead NPD projects and support manufacturability.
