Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Englewood, CO is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to design and develop complex mechanical structures and systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will apply CAE tools, GD&T, and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet program goals and ensure robust performance.

The role focuses on research, design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced aerospace products, with opportunities across aircraft and space exploration technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Engineering tools
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design teams
• Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing, designing, and developing complex mechanical structures and systems
• Supporting new product and process development throughout the complete product lifecycle
• Applying engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges
• Utilizing CAE tools to support design and development activities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and development teams
• Applying and interpreting GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5
• Supporting simulations and analyses including FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis
