Job summary

Leidos’ Defense Sector in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design air defense launchers for the IFPC Inc 2 portfolio. You will use Creo CAD and Windchill daily to turn ideas into hardware, working with production, integration, and testing teams to bring designs to life.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 8+ years of experience, with a preference for leadership experience on design teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of applicable design or analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Structural design via Creo CAD software, drawing generation in accordance with ASME Y14.100 & Y14.5, and producing technical data packages in accordance with MIL-STD-31000.
• Develop technical data packages and collaborate with production, integration, and testing teams.
• Assist with hardware installation and on-vehicle testing as needed.
