Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Extensive hands-on mechanical design, product development and mechanism design experience.
• Strong CAD modeling and design of electromechanical systems.
• Experience leading projects, directing technical teams, and delivering parts on time.
• Proven ability to evaluate designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and redesign of complex robotic and electromechanical systems.
• Evaluate existing designs for simplification, performance improvement and manufacturability.
• Design complex mechanisms, flexible instruments and precision assemblies.
• Drive design optimization from prototypes to commercially viable products.
• Provide technical leadership to a small engineering team and manage priorities.
