Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to advance mechanical subsystems for automated medication management products. The role involves leading cross-functional design reviews, performing FMEA, and guiding designs from concept through to manufacturing and field support.

You will work with CAD models in SolidWorks, analyze tolerances, and contribute to reliability testing and documentation. A BS with 5+ years’ experience is typical, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Experience designing complex mechanical subassemblies and systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing techniques (machining, sheet metal, molding), BOM/MRP, ECR/ECO processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical devices and systems with a wide variety of components.
• Lead design change projects from creation through release.
• Perform FMEA and root cause analysis to improve designs.
• Verify engineering with testing and generate test reports.
• Manage multiple tasks and report progress to stakeholders.
