LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer in Lisle, IL to lead innovative product development. You will manage the product design lifecycle, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

This on-site direct hire position values collaboration and problem-solving. You will support teams through design reviews to enhance product performance and mentor less experienced engineers while contributing to projects from initial design to production launch.

Qualifications

• Product design and development experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience designing plastic, sheet metal, and cast metal components.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from CAD design through production launch.
• Create and validate designs using CAD and engineering best practices.
• Meet performance, quality, cost, and timing requirements.
• Support design reviews and continuous product improvements.
• Serve as a technical resource for less experienced engineers.
