Job summary

Nippon Seiki North America seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of automotive instrument clusters and head-up displays. You will review customer requirements, create engineering proposals, and deliver drawings and specifications that meet DES standards.

You will mentor teams in optical design, perform stack-up analyses, and support PV and production prep with root-cause investigations and DFMEA/DVP tasks. Strong CAD/CAE and GD&T skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with automotive design & development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of IPCs and HUDs including 3D models and 2D drawings with GD&T.
• Provide root-cause analysis and 5-Phase/5-Why analysis reports.
• Support PV and production prep phases with quality and process considerations.
