Job summary

Wolf Engineering, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer III to lead substantial portions of discipline design across HVAC systems, coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients, and deliver construction documents from concept through construction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited), 6–9 years of experience, and licensure considerations (EIT required or preferred; PE preferred or in progress).

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related ABET-accredited program.
• Typically 6–9 years in mechanical building-systems design or consulting.
• EIT required or strongly preferred; PE licensure preferred or progressing toward licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead substantial portions of discipline design and review junior staff work.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other disciplines; drive issue closure.
• Develop equipment schedules, control sequences, diagrams, and construction documents.
• Coordinate BAS/control requirements and sequences with controls vendors.
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders; support project managers with scope, schedule, and staffing.
