Job summary

You will contribute to energy‑efficient design, stay current with ASHRAE/IECC/NFPA codes, and handle client meetings, budgeting, and scheduling. A PE license and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• PE license preferred; EIT considered for progression.
• 3–5 years designing mechanical/HVAC systems for commercial buildings; 5+ years post-licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and energy‑efficient mechanical systems for commercial buildings.
• Provide technical leadership, quality control review, and code compliance oversight for deliverables.
• Mentor, coach, and support junior engineers and designers on projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to develop integrated building solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, project planning, and proposals.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, resource planning and execution.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes (ASHRAE, IECC, NFPA) and standards.
