Job summary

Stanley Consultants, a global engineering firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 8–15 years of facility design experience to join our Austin office. You will perform design calculations, prepare drawings, and lead design efforts on HVAC, plumbing, and energy projects.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and applying BIM and energy modeling. Hybrid work options are available in this position.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of facility design experience.
• PE (or ability to obtain within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design development from concept to detail design.
• Mentor junior staff to develop designs and drawings.
• Perform design computations for system sizing and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, I&C).
• Contribute to BIM, energy studies, and field observations as needed.
