Acceler8 Talent in Santa Clara is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own dense hardware around GPUs powering AI networking. You will oversee chassis and line-card designs from architecture through production, partnering with suppliers and test teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in telecom/networking hardware, hands-on with prototypes, NEBS-style qualification, EMI and cooling strategies, and a track record of delivering production-ready builds.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering telecom, networking or data-center hardware.
• Ownership of dense chassis and line-card designs from CAD through production.
• Experience with tolerance, connector, cable, EMI, safety and cooling decisions in production.
• Hands-on with prototypes, supplier issues, and environmental/ NEBS-style qualification.
• Strong ownership of a dense system from first CAD to production.

Responsibilities

• Own chassis and line-card designs from conception to production.
• Lead tolerance analysis and complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Address EMI, cooling, connectors and safety in production.
• Oversee prototypes, qualification, and production readiness.
