Responsibilities for Senior level Mechanical Engineer:

The successful candidate shall be able to work independently with minimal supervision for tasks as follows:

• Able to communicate directly with clients.
• Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment
• Duct design/piping design experience
• Central plant cooling design
• Perform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design work
• Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software)
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget
• Able to travel to project sites

Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• EIT/PE a plus
• 10+ years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm including some Mission Critical (data center) design experience
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC Systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge and familiarity in use of mechanical engineering software such as but not limited to heat loss/gain calcs, pipe-flo, CFD modeling, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to jr staff for project development
• Must be self-motivated and know project design steps/requirements

Salary Transparency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $106,000 - $133,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
