Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of high-precision CNC grinding machinery from concept through manufacturing, assembly, testing, and post-installation support.

You will use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to translate customer requirements into reliable, manufacturable solutions, guide cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in performance, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of practical mechanical design experience with machinery and capital equipment.
• Experience with CNC grinding machines preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-precision CNC grinding machinery from concept to manufacturing.
• Develop concepts using 3D CAD and lead design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule goals.
