Job summary

Sterling Engineering, Inc. in Taylor Mill, KY is seeking an Engineer III to design, develop, and document mechanical components and assemblies.

You will create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, applying math to solve design problems. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirements, perform tolerance analyses, prepare BOMs, and document changes using Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Math-based design and problem solving
• CAD proficiency with Inventor/AutoCAD
• Documentation and communication using MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of BOMs and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document mechanical components and assemblies
