Job summary

Czarnowski Collective in Kentucky is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create technical drawings for exhibits and tradeshow booths. You will use AutoCAD and Inventor to prepare layouts, drawings, and diagrams while managing multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or 3–5 years related experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools including Autodesk Fusion, Inventor, SolidWorks, and other listed platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3–5 years related experience required.
• Construction background helpful for fabrication understanding.
• Must be able to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and problem solve.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in 3D modeling using Autodesk, Inventor, SolidWorks or related tools.
• Knowledge of cabinet and metal fabrication helpful.

Responsibilities

• Produce plans, views, sections and details using established drafting standards and scaling practices.
• Annotate drawings with hardware call-outs, finish notes and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with Project Managers to complete redline corrections and additions on drawings.
• Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming conventions per company standards.
• Detail any size project with speed and accuracy.
• Perform project support tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Take a project from start to finish and stay current on CAD technology.
