Job summary

R&P Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, Pro-E, and AutoCAD Inventor, and provide engineering and project support across manufacturing teams.

The role requires evaluating designs, preparing part numbers, maintaining BOMs in ERP, and assisting with manufacturing processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of product design/engineering experience.
• Intermediate skills in SolidWorks, PRO-E, AutoCAD or AutoCAD Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform engineering work related to design, drafting and development of products.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models; develop manufacturing drawings.
• Verify designs using 3D modelling to ensure fit, form and function.
• Assign part numbers for new parts and maintain BOMs in ERP.
• Support fabrication and machinery operations with engineering guidance.
