Job summary

The position emphasizes rapid prototyping, thorough drawings, and end-to-end design from concept to mass production, with a strong emphasis on quality and detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of analytical problem solving in electromechanical systems.
• Experience with 3D CAD and complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for aircraft, ground stations, and accessories.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on PCBAs, flex circuits, antennas, and cable harnesses.
• Interface with vendors with operations and supply chain teams.
• Define and execute engineering tests and evaluate trade-offs.
• Drive designs from prototyping to pre-production and mass production; support manufacturing with processes and inspection criteria.
• Debug failures and identify root causes with attention to detail.
