Job summary

Mintex Tech in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical and plumbing design across regions, ensuring all work aligns with U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army standards for surveying, planning, and RFP design.

We require a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a P.E. license, and 10+ years of HVAC/plumbing design experience in consulting, with BIM experience (Revit/AutoCAD).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC/plumbing focus.
• P.E. license is required.
• 10+ years of HVAC/plumbing design experience in a consulting environment.
• LEED AP is preferred.
• Experience with ASHRAE 62.1, 90.1, 55 and California Title 24 Energy Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and plumbing design across regions.
• Ensure designs meet DoD standards (Navy/Marine Corps/Army/Air Force).

• Annual salary ranges of $135,000-$155,000, depending on qualifications and experience

• Client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will lead Client's mechanical and plumbing engineering design efforts across all regions, ensuring all work aligns with U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army standards for surveying, planning, and RFP design.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor Science Mechanical Engineering Degree – Focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering
• P.E. license required

• Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code
